We, mobileinfo, process the information (including personal data) that You as a requester provide us with utmost care and confidentiality in accordance with this Privacy Notice as well as applicable laws. This Privacy Notice provides You with the information about essential aspects of data processing. mobileinfo is a customer service platform for consumer queries concerning carrier billing payments (payment via mobile phone invoice) for goods and services offered by the respective service providers (hereinafter the “Service Providers”). Mobileinfo is operated by DIMOCO Payments GmbH (Europaring F15/302, 2345 Brunn am Gebirge, Austria; hereinafter “DIMOCO”) and made available on www.mobileinfo.biz; You can direct a query to mobileinfo either by using a contract form on the said website, as well as sending an e-mail to the address or making a phone call to the number assigned to the respective country. Please be advised that – unlike the Service Providers – neither mobileinfo nor DIMOCO offers any goods and services, but instead only helps consumers to clarify the matter free of charge with the relevant Service Provider, provided that such Service Provider has chosen mobileinfo as its customer service. Consequently, the respective Service Provider, who is responsible for the services ordered by You, is the controller responsible for processing of Your personal data pursuant to Art. 4 (7) GDPR. DIMOCO merely acts as processor pursuant to Art. 4 (8) GDPR on behalf of such Service Providers, who use mobileinfo as their customer service. Upon receiving Your query, we will be able to identify the relevant Service Provider and – if requested – provide You with additional contact details of such Service Provider.

3. What is the Purpose of the Data Processing?

We process the data received from You for the purpose of making available the requested information as well as processing and resolving Your query that You sent to Us (hereinafter referred to as the “Purpose“).

4. How the Data Will Be Processed?

The data You provide us will be kept confidential and will be processed with due care, appropriately and in a way adequate and relevant to the Purpose expressly stated in this Privacy Notice. The data will be processed in compliance with applicable laws, in particular with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR) and the relevant provisions of the Austrian law. The confidentiality and security of Your data is secured by appropriate technological and organizational measures.

 

We use the widespread SSL process in conjunction with the highest encryption level, which is supported by Your browser. You can tell whether a single page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the address bar of Your browser.

 

In addition, we apply other suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect Your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

5. What is the Legal Basis for the Data Processing?

The processing of Your personal data is based on the following legal basis:

 

  • it is necessary for the performance of a contract between You and the relevant Service Provider responsible for the service, which You ordered (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR);

 

  • it is necessary for the Service Providers’ compliance with a legal obligation to enable You to contact the Service Provider responsible for the service, which You ordered (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR).

 

Please note that the sole purpose of mobileinfo is to provide You with support regarding the service purchased from the Service Provider upon Your prior request. The provision of the relevant personal data by You is, therefore, made entirely voluntary and You are under no obligation (whether contractual or statutory) to provide any such personal data. Non-provision of such data will, however, not make it possible for mobileinfo to provide You with any further support.

6. Who Has Access to the Data?

Your personal data will be primarily processed by authorized personnel (agents) of entrusted call centre providers. If this is necessary for processing of Your request, the relevant information may be also made available to DIMOCO, the Service Provider responsible for the service in question and/or Your mobile operator. Please note that processing of any personal data is always safeguarded by appropriate contractual obligations. Should it be necessary to process Your personal data outside of the European Economic Area, any such processing will be subject to additional safeguards required for international transfers of personal data.

7. How Long the Data Will Be Processed?

Depending on functionalities You are using, the following duration will apply to the processing of Your personal data:

We will keep Your relevant personal data for only as long as reasonably necessary in order to process and respond to Your query and any claims connected thereto. Your personal data will be automatically deleted from Our database 6 (six) months after Your query to mobileinfo has been processed or in any case after the lapse of 6 (six) months following Your last contact with mobileinfo.

Please note that We will continue to save Your correspondence with us (e.g. Your e-mail) in order to be able to prove the communication history should there be legal, police or judicial inquiries about a case at a later date. The access thereto will be highly restricted and only granted when necessary. The correspondence will be stored for a period, which is based on the relevant applicable statutory limitation period. After the lapse of such period, the data will be automatically deleted from Our systems.

Your phone number will be processed exclusively for as long as it is necessary in order to log in to the system, identify and display the relevant transaction details.

8. What Are Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data?

In accordance with Art. 13 to 22 GDPR, You have the following rights with respect to the personal data that You provide/provided us:

  • the right to Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • the right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • the right to Erasure or Right to be Forgotten (Art. 17 GDPR)

Moreover, You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority competent for the respective Service Provider, which is responsible for the processing of Your personal data.
